Plain words, because they are meant to be read.
1. What you may do for free
Look at every public map, hex page, city report, record and heartbeat as much as you like. Share links and screenshots. Use the
Open data file under its CC BY-NC-SA 4.0 licence for research, journalism, education, public bodies and personal projects, with credit.
2. What needs a licence
Automated or bulk extraction of the map feeds (the tile feed, per-hex statistics, live layers), scraping of pages, and any commercial use of the measurements or of things built from them. Commercial includes selling data, selling a product or service whose value comes from this data, and using it inside a business for planning, marketing or network engineering. The licensed atlas, with exact values, full history, sample counts, fresh updates and an API, is available to organisations through the
Enterprise Portal or by writing to admin@sevinhub.com.
3. Precision
Public maps may show measurements as bands (for example "20 to 50 signals per pass" or "3 of 4 bars") rather than exact values. A band is an honest statement about the measurement, not an estimate; the exact value exists and is part of the licensed atlas. Miners always see their own exact numbers in their private journey.
4. Rate limits
The map feeds are sized for the pages that use them and for the app. Requests beyond that are answered with HTTP 429 and a link here. If you have a legitimate need for more, write to admin@sevinhub.com and say what it is.
5. What never changes
Everything published is aggregate: no device identities, no people counts, no routes, no audio, no exact live positions. See the
privacy policy. Nothing in these terms affects the rewards of the people who measure; those are governed by the app and the rules on the Real Impact page.
Effective 2026-09-08. Operated by SevinHub.
Live since 2026-08-09 17:20:11 UTC. Every number
above is an exact count over the same database
Explorer and
Live Map read, never an estimate. Some pages are refreshed on a schedule rather than on every visit
(Records every ten minutes, Heartbeat every minute, Open data once a day) and say so. Node counts only, never identities.
See the
privacy policy for what is and is not collected, and the
terms of use for what may be done with it.
