Researchers, journalists, students and city planners can take the network's coverage footprint and use it. This dataset is the coarse layer: one row per H3 cell at resolution 6, about 36 square kilometres each, with how many fine hexes inside it are measured, which layers, and when. Cells with fewer than 5 measured hexes are left out. No exact hexes, no readings, no device identities, no routes. Rebuilt once a day.

CC BY-NC-SA 4.0). Free for research, journalism, education, public bodies and personal projects. You must credit Invisible Atlas, you may not use it commercially, and anything you build from it must be shared under the same licence. Commercial use, and the fine-grained atlas (resolution-9 hexes with per-layer readings, the same source, not the same file), are licensed separately to organisations through the
Enterprise Portal; that is what pays for the trees, the ocean cleanups and the eSIMs.
How to credit
Anywhere the data or a map made from it appears, add one line with a link:
