ZandhovenInvisible World Report, Belgium

Generated 2026-10-02T06:08 UTC from every measured hex whose place name resolves to this city. Hexes without a resolved name are not counted, so these are lower bounds. Cite as: Invisible Atlas, Invisible World Report, Zandhoven, 2026-10-02, blescan.sevinhub.com.

What the city's phones turned into

The phones that measured Zandhoven have caused 19 real provider-fulfilled units so far, 6 of them trees. Attribution is by phone, not by hex, because a phone earns across every place it maps.

Method

Each phone converts its position to an H3 resolution-9 hexagon on the device; only the hexagon and the readings leave the phone. Bluetooth and WiFi are counted from hashed identifiers, never listed. Cellular is the serving signal level 0 to 4. GNSS is carrier-to-noise density. Night light and sound are deliberate readings taken by a person on purpose; sound records a number, never audio. Network speed is measured only when a user starts a test. Averages are over hexes that carry the layer, not over the city's area. Place names come from a reverse-geocoder and cover part of the hexes, so counts are lower bounds. Nothing is interpolated.
Live since 2026-08-09 17:20:11 UTC. Every number above is an exact count over the same database Explorer and Live Map read, never an estimate. Some pages are refreshed on a schedule rather than on every visit (Records every ten minutes, Heartbeat every minute, Open data once a day) and say so. Node counts only, never identities.
